Hurricane Sally did significant damage in the Pensacola area. Our home sustained such damage with flooding, fencing being destroyed and roof damage. On March 20, 2021 while I was across town in South Cape Coral around 5ish, I got a harrowing call from my husband telling me the house we were renting in Northeast Cape Coral had caught fire and I needed to come home immediately.

My heart stopped for a millisecond before it began racing. With lightening speed aka running red lights, swerving around cars...I pull up to my street moments later to find the entire street lined with fire engines. My heart sunk thinking I was too late. Thinking my husband who has cancer and my senior dog that is blind/deaf were gone.
